ABOUT US
In 2011, MGI 4 Youth, formerly English 4 Youth, partnered with Micheal Gott International to afford youth ages 10 to 18 a similar opportunity to learn English with Americans.
We know that English is not the best language, but we also know that the English language is a key that unlocks the door to a brighter future, and we want the best and brightest future possible for our students.
We think that when you’re relaxed and having fun, you learn more quickly. So we make every effort to keep our classes interesting, upbeat, positive, and relaxed. In addition, we use “hands-on” proven methods to improve pronunciation and listening skills during our large group times.
We honestly believe that you will learn more conversational English in this 7 day period than any other 7 days in your life!
When students register, they are interviewed individually to determine which of our 6 levels of English classes will best meet their needs. Once that is determined, students are placed in small classes with other students within their age group. We have 4 separate 1.5 hour sessions per day. The youngest students, age 10 and 11, come to the morning session. 12 and 13 year olds attend a session right after lunch. 14 and 15 year olds attend mid afternoon, and our oldest students come in the evening.
Upon completion of the course, students are encouraged to invite their family and friends to a special graduation program where each student receives a personalized diploma. Our curriculum is an internationally registered course and is recognized as meeting the criteria of International English as a Foreign Language guidelines and standards.

AMY PANNELL
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Amy has organized English Language Events throughout the world since 1989 and has taught English in over 12 cities in Ukraine since 2008.
Amy’s passion is to help youth and children improve their conversational English skills in a natural, relaxed atmosphere where music, activity, and laughter are learning tools.
Amy lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband of 21 years and their 2 children. Her daughter, LG, works with Amy in the "MGI 4 Youth" program.
STEPHANIE FERRO
MUSIC DIRECTOR
In 2000 Stephanie (Allison) Ferro began teaching music in Texas to students ranging in 11-18 years of age. She is currently the head Choir Director at Marshall High School in Marshall, TX.
She first came to Ukraine in 2005 and has been back every summer since! From Lviv to Kharkiv, Chernigiv to Odessa and many places in between
--23 courses in 15 years and counting!
Stephanie strongly believes in the philosophy of using music to learn a language: When you are singing in a language you are speaking that language!
In PES a variety of music is used to help speakers of all English levels practice special sounds in the English language as well as learn common, practical, and expanded vocabulary and expressions.
Whether or not you consider yourself a singer there is much English to learn through singing: it improves communication, enunciation, flow, language structure, and context usage plus the tone-rhythm-cadence patterns help with memory.
Stephanie was recently married; when not on the road she and her trucker husband Michael reside in Marshall with Binx the cat.
